I recently took one of Shannyn’s sessions and I wanted to share the effects I’ve noticed appearing in my life since. First I’d like to mention the sense of relaxation that I felt during the session itself. Like most people, I have a sort of chronic stress level that is fueled by our pace of life, the news, demands from all corners, etc. The energy I felt at the session put me in a state of profound relaxation combined with a clarity of mind that was completely new for me. My body felt completely at ease while my mind was alert but peaceful. It feels like a gift, a rare and special state. In subsequent days I found myself effortlessly starting up a meditation practice that I had been neglecting for years. The resistance that I had felt around such good practices didn’t seem to exist anymore, and making other healthy choices in my life became easy. I revived some creative ideas that I had put on the shelf years ago, and I noticed that the clarity of mind I experienced at the session could be found again by becoming calm and centered. It’s as if my old stories, the hangups and resistances, took a holiday, leaving me feeling refreshed and ready to continue my growth process.
