I wish I could have signed up for those lenes years ago, however whatever filter I have applied to my life over the last few years seems to be having the same effect. Even if there are grumpy people in the supermarket, if you cut cords for them and smile at them, so often they break into the biggest smile themselves, they are just reacting back to the love given by you. If you can be the good thing that happens to everybody, not only will you not notice the bad, the bad just doesnt happen. love alyssa

I told my healing group tonight about my desire to let the desire for money go, and one of the ladies said, interesting because I had a dream about you a couple of months ago and your asking for money was meaning you were actually pushing away huge chests of money from you. She didn't however want to tell me because she thought I might think she thought I was greedy, and that was not it.

I know full well what you strive for and try to pull towards you is what flees from you faster than water through a sieve. However its another matter putting this into everyday practice, I am now determined to cut cords every time I notice my thought patterns going to money and what if senarios in my mind. I must say I remembered it at least twenty times today and felt alot better for all the cutting.

The worries we have are kind of like anticreations. The creative thought only has to really be put out there once then the work is with keeping anti creation away from that little seed, potential plant. love alyssa

Hi Alyssa!
Lot's of love to you! I'm still discovering how to balance this. I think there's a difference between inspiration that moves us to create and love and make things, those feel like desires, but they are different from the desires that cause us to attach and hold and grasp and suffer. I think we need 2 words. I don't think our language has enough flexibility to describe the reality. At my place in this balancing act I'm just trying to create and let go. Create and let go. : ) Not always successful but it's a journey!

Much love!

I like your take on enlightenment and giving away the desires for stuff. I not only think its about stuff its about relationships also, all the things we crave to make us feel more complete and loved.

I am feeling like I have a real handle on the relationship part, I have no more cravings left for partnership type relationships, but then I do have very close relationships with my children so guess I get my love from these relationships. However I would like to be as free from the the desire for money, new house, money for education and choice as I am free from the desire for intimate relationships. Like you Shannon I am working on it. love alyssa
